The Lincoln Commemorative Silver Dollar is a special commemorative coin which was issued by the U.S. Mint in 2009. The purpose of the coin is to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, and to raise money for the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission (ALBC). Mintage will be limited to 500,000 specimens.
